‘A baobab of Ecology in Africa is gone’

The entire family of the African greens federation (AGF) is in deep sorrow after the sudden death, on Friday August 20, 2021 of the Professor, Papa Meissa DIENG, formerly President of the “Convergence des Ecologistes du Senegal” (CES), founding member of the Federation of African Green political parties and its former Secretary General.

African Greens Stands with the Ecological Movement of Guatemala

The African Green Federation (AGF) has declared itself in a permanent state of alert against the serious political attack against the members of the Ecological Movement of Guatemala.

We firmly express our total rejection of the practice that is being installed in S. American continent, in order to persecute the political adversary using a strategy of judicialization of politics.

AGF’s International Conference on Elections and Campaigns held in Burkina Faso.

The African Greens Federation, held its first International Conference on Elections and Campaigns in Ouagadougou-Burkina Faso, from 15th -16th August 2015.

The international conference was preceded by a regional training of the West African Green Parties Federation on Green Ideology and the Environment, from 13th -14th.

Participants came from Zambia, Rwanda, Niger, Senegal, Mali, Togo, Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso.
