Resolution regarding Mrs. Fatima Alaoui and North Africa

The Executive Committee of the Federation during its meeting on 20th September 2010: Reconfirmed the suspension of Mrs Fatima Alaoui's participation in any correspondence appearing on the shared site of AGF. It also Reconfirmed the decision that Mrs Fatima Alaoui be replaced immediately as the AGF representative for North Africa by Dr. Mohamed Awad of the Egyptian Greens party.

AFRICAN GREENS FEDERATION EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (AGF)

RESOLUTION OF 20 SEPT 2010, REGARDING Mrs. FATIMA ALAOUI AND NORTH AFRICA

The Executive Committee of the African Greens Federation participating in the skype telephone conference held from 6-8pm GMT on 20th Sept 2010,

Considering the urgent need to reconnect and pool our energies to deal with numerous complex attempts being made at the moment to de-stabilize the burgeoning African Greens Federation,

Bearing in mind a strongly expressed need to put an end to the insolent and irresponsible actions of Mrs Fatima Alaoui on the AGF site,

Considering that such behavior by Mrs Alaoui constitutes the repetition of appalling precedents set during several of our gatherings (meetings, conferences, assemblies etc),

Wishing to cultivate a spirit of mutual respect, intellectual honesty, solidarity and consultation as preferred ways of handling our problems and settling our differences.

1. Reconfirm the suspension of Mrs Fatima Alaoui's participation in any correspondence appearing on the shared site (mailing list) of the AGF.

2. Reconfirm our decision that Mrs Fatima Alaoui be replaced immediately as the AGF representative for North Africa by Dr. Mohamed Awad of the Egyptian Greens party.

3. Remind everyone that such a suspension could be applied to any other member or friend of the AGF who commits the same acts, but is not a permanent exclusion from the AGF.

4. Recognize that in accordance with articles of the Constitution, the permanent exclusion from the AGF for serious misbehavior of Mrs Fatima Alaoui, or any other member could be requested by the executive committee at the next general meeting of the Federation.

5. Express our wish to activate and involve in its activities all members of the AGF, without exception.

6. Encourage all interested people who are not yet part of the process of organizing the AGF, to join the movement which has set itself the institutional objective of integrating all active forces on our continent.

7. We congratulate the AGF on its decision to conduct skype telephone conferences to maintain links between members of the executive committee and promote the good functioning of the AGF while we wait for improved financial circumstances to allow us to organize actual meetings on the ground.

8. We exhort our members and friends living abroad to become part of this renewed dynamism.

RESOLUTION BUREAU EXECUTIF DE LA FEDERATION (FEVA) DES VERTS AFRIQUE CONCERNANT Mme. FATIMA ALOUI ET L'AFRIQUE DU NORD.

Le Bureau Exécutif du Fédération, à la réunion téléphonique tenue le 20 Sept.2010, de 18H00 - 20h00 GMT.

Considérant l'urgente nécessité de remobiliser et de mettre en synergie toutes les forces face aux multiples et complexes tentatives de déstabilisation que connait actuellement la Fédération africaine naissante,

Tenant compte d'un besoin fortement exprimé de mettre fin aux agissements insolents et irresponsables de Mme Fatima Alaoui sur le site de la FEVA,

Considérant qu'un tel comportement de Mme Alaoui, constitue la répétition de précédents, déplorés lors de plusieurs de nos rencontres (réunions, conférences, assemblées, etc.),

Désireux d'asseoir le respect mutuel, l'honnêteté intellectuelle, la solidariste et la concertation comme modes privilégiés de gestion de nos problèmes et divergences.

1. Réaffirmons la suspension de la participation de Mme Fatima Alaoui à tout échange se produisant sur le site partagé (mailing liste) de la FEVA.

2. Réaffirmons notre décision que Mme Fatima Alaoui soit remplacée immédiatement comme représentante de la FEVA de l'Afrique du nord par Dr. Mohamed Awad du parti Vert de l'Egypte.

3. Rappelons qu'une telle suspension qui pourrait être appliquée à tout autre membre ou sympathisant de la FEVA se livrant à des agissements similaires, ne saurait être assimilée à une exclusion définitive de la FEVA.

4. Reconnaissons que conformément aux dispositions statutaires, l'exclusion définitive de la FEVA pour faute ou manquements graves, de Mme Fatima Alaoui, comme celle de tout autre membre, pourrait être sollicitée par le Collège Exécutif lors de la prochaine assemblée générale de la Fédération.

5. Exprimons notre volonté de mobiliser et de faire participer à ses activités, sans exclusive, tous les membres de la FEVA.

6. Engageons donc tous les acteurs qui n'ont pas encore rejoint le processus d'organisation de la FEVA à se joindre au mouvement qui, dans son schéma institutionnel, a prévu l'intégration de toutes les forces de notre continent.

7. Nous félicitons du choix porté sur les conférences téléphoniques pour maintenir les liens entre les membres du Collège Exécutif et faire fonctionner les instances de la FEVA en attendant des lendemains financiers permettant des rencontres physiques.

8. Exhortons nos membres et sympathisants vivant à l'étranger à s'associer à cette dynamique.
