The Global Greens Coordination (GGC) is pleased to announce the election of Keli Yen as GG Convenor and Ram Ouedraogo as GG Co-Convenor!  The GGC recognises Margaret Blakers for her commitment as Convenor from 2001-2017 and the countless ways in which she has contributed to building the Global Greens since its start.  The election of Keli and Ram marks the start of the next stage of the Global Greens' development.  The GGC is now generating a new strategic plan and projects for 2018 and beyond ... The African Green Federation (AGF) had a full day meeting on the 29th March and half day meeting on 30th March 2017 in Liverpool in prelude to the Global Greens congress.The first day meeting was held at Jurys Inn and the second day at the ACC congress venue. The Eastern Africa Greens Federation successfully trained member parties on elections and campaigns and held a women training workshop in Kigali, Rwanda from 13th to 16th 2016. These events were hosted by the Democratic Green Party of Rwanda.Most participants confessed that the training was very relevant and greatly enhanced their skills in campaigning and elections winning.EAGF also had an ordinary congress, which immediately took place after the training. It was during the Second Global Greens Congress in April-May 2008 which took place in Sao Paulo-Brazil, that Green Forum Sweden recommitted itself in support the African Greens Network, as it was called then.
