About Dakar 2012

Greens and Green-minded people from anywhere in the world are welcome to attend Global Greens 2012. The Congress will have formal sessions where only delegates from Global Greens member groups can participate (others can observe); there will also be plenty of sessions where everyone can join in. There will also be side-meetings and opportunities to visit places of interest in Dakar and Senegal. Above all, the Global Congress is a wonderful opportunity to meet and get to know fellow Greens.

The program is being developed and a draft will be posted on this webpage as soon as it is available. Suggestions are welcome. The conference language is English but proceedings of the main sessions will be translated into French, Spanish and other languages.

Assistance will be available for people from low income countries, young people and others who could not otherwise afford to come. Please donate to the travel fund -- contributions of any amount would be much appreciated to help cover delegates' travel and accommodation.
